DSC_0065_PulledPorkBBQHere at Dad’s Classic Grill, our mission is to serve high quality food and offer a unique experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Our food is not your typical quick serve restaurant type of food-it’s high quality and flat out delicious. Start your order by picking your meat: burger, chicken, hot dog or pulled pork. Then move on to add your premium toppings like bacon, pulled pork, cheese or chili. Decide if you want to make it a combo with our signature tater tots and an ice cold drink and then move on to the topping station. Here you tell us what other toppings and sauces you’d like on your sandwich like onions, pickle, tomato, fried onion, corn & black bean spread, BBQ, Ketchup, Mustard, A1 and many more! With over 25 toppings and sauces to choose from, the possibilities are endless.

DSC_0088_Tots4_resizedDad’s Classic is made up of two divisions, Dad’s Classic Catering and Dad’s Classic Grill. In April of 2014, ACP Entertainment (Dad’s Classic’s parent company) formed Dad’s Classic Catering to mainly serve the picnic-style type of catering events with a unique twist. The rustic style concept was very successful in the first year and even more so in the second year. Because of its success, we decided to open a restaurant location that reflects the same delicious food and unique theme. Thus, Dad’s Classic Grill was born.

Who’s “Dad” do you ask? Well, here’s the story. ACP Entertainment was started by Ryan Strayhorn as a 15 year old entrepreneur. His Mom and Dad, Rick and Kim Strayhorn, were incredibly supportive and involved in the business. While his Mom did the book work for the most part, his Dad was actively involved with helping on event sites setting up and tearing down events. As the company grew, the need for catering was dad and grampsidentified and it was decided to start a catering division. Trying to figure out the name was the first hurdle of launching the division. After hundreds of names, we combined ideas to form Dad’s Classic Catering which represented multiple things. The “Dad” part represents a dad’s type of cooking which is commonly on the grill. It also recognizes Rick (Ryan’s Dad) and Ed (Ryan’s Grandpa and Rick’s Dad) who had been incredibly supportive of the business (Rick and Ed pictured to the right). The “Classic” part of the name represents the classic type of food we typically serve like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, etc. The “Classic” part of the name also gave us room to expand in the future to more classy events and fixed establishments.

Dad’s Classic welcomes you to our restaurant, we’re glad you’re here where Classic Meets Custom.
